NOTE 1: The general rule of thumb for this guide is that for each trophy to pop, you'll need to complete a new action that will make the game access the portion of your save file that relates to that trophy. What this means in practical terms is that if your PS3 character has completed all story & side missions (including pre-order bonuses), maxed out all challenges and hit the level cap, you might as well just start from scratch because there will be very little that you'll be able to do with that existing save file. NOTE 2: All of the information below has been tested and reported by many users (including the author), but since this is not how the game's trophies were intended to be earned, strictly speaking, there is always the chance that your experience may vary or that some of these tips won't work for you.
This section will detail the steps that make up the quickest path back to 100%. Following them, assuming you have the correct setup and everything works properly for you, should enable you to reach 100% in this version of the game in 35-40 hours, rather than the 80-100 it would have taken you the first time. Step 1: Power Leveling (optional, but highly recommended)Because you'll have to replay all of the main story missions and most of the DLC missions, you need to have a character to use that has those missions available to them. While it's technically possible to do that in any playthrough, the easiest way to do this will be to have a high level character playing on their Normal playthrough.
Playing on True (or Ultimate) Vault Hunter Mode will make some sections harder than they need to be, and the raid bosses will be nearly impossible to defeat unless your character is extremely powerful and/or you've got some good help. Additionally, there does not appear to be any way to unlock while playing on a save file that has already earned the trophy during any playthrough, because the map will already be completely uncovered in subsequent runs.
For those reasons, you may want to spend some time power-leveling a character who has not yet been through the story on Normal - preferably right up to the edge of level 50, so that you can get your level trophies as quickly as possible. There are several methods listed in the main trophy guide for this, but replaying the last round of the Bar Room Brawl in split screen with your higher-level character on TVHM or UVHM (depending on what main character you're using) is the easiest. Because playing in split screen with two characters from the same PSN profile is not possible on the PS4, you'll have to do this on the PS3 before moving on to step two, or get help from someone else to do it on the PS4 version. Step 2: Character TransferThe character transfer process is a little cumbersome due to the fact that you can only have one character 'shared' in the cloud at a time. Load up your PS3 copy of Borderlands 2, which must be patched to the latest version, and upload your first character.
Then, switch over to the PS4 version and download the shared character. Rinse and repeat for each character you wish to transfer. You should be moving at least four characters - one of each type - to finish as quickly as possible.
Step 3: Circles of SlaughterIn this step, you'll knock out several trophies by replaying single rounds of three different battles. For this, you'll be playing on your main character - the one you used to get to 100% completion in the PS3 version of the game.
Wondershare dr fone keygen generator. First, head to The Beatdown and replay the third round of the Bar Room Brawl in Pyro Pete's. If you did the optional power leveling first, your character should already be at that location. While you're there, check the floor to see if there's a Moxxi picture lying around. If not, play a few more rounds until you find one. From there, head over to Murderlin's Temple and re-play the Badass round of his fight to save yourself the trouble of re-doing the entire thing later. Finally, if you did not play the Creature Slaughter Dome on the PS3 version of the game, head over to the Natural Selection Annex of the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve and play one round now to unlock your side mission trophies. Trophies Earned in This Step: Step 4: Miscellaneous Main Game TrophiesStill using your main character, you can now zip around Pandora and knock out a whole bunch of trophies very quickly.
Head down to the Miscellaneous Trophies in the section below for general directions, and then back over to the trophy guide as needed for more specific help. Apart from the random spawn trophies, you should be able to knock out all of these very quickly. Trophies Earned in This Step: Step 5: Complete a ChallengeThis step may not be necessary, as it's quite possible that you already completed one level of a challenge while working through the steps above.
If you didn't, go to your challenge list now, find one that you're close to knocking out and finish it off. Trophies Earned in This Step: Step 6: Character-Specific TrophiesChances are, you already earned the trophy associated with your main character in one of the previous steps, but if not, do that now. After that, load up the other three and take care of them as well. Trophies Earned in This Step: Step 7: Enjoy the Game, Without the Grind (mostly)This is where the fun begins, because at this point you can load up the character you power-leveled in step one and play through the story of the main game and the DLC without having to worry about completing challenges or all 109 main game side missions. Unfortunately, you will still have to complete most of the DLC side missions, but hey - you can't have everything, right?
During this step, you should earn your level-based trophies, and be on the lookout for those random spawn miscellaneous trophies if you didn't get them in step three. Trophies Earned in This Step: Step 8: Clean-upAt this point, you should have unlocked everything you need to earn your platinum trophy and 100% completion, but if you missed out on any of the random spawns or are in the unfortunate position of needing to redo all of the main game side missions, you can do that now to finish your journey back through Pandora. Trophies Earned in This Step. Story Mission Trophies Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view), the only way to unlock all of these trophies is to complete the missions to which they are attached, which means replaying the entire story from beginning to end.

The good news is that you can do this on any playthrough, so if you have not yet played True Vault Hunter Mode with your transferred character, you can get these trophies there. That being said, the best way to do it is with a high level character playing on Normal as indicated in the above. I would not recommend trying this in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode unless you have a seriously leveled up character, and probably some good friends to help you. Side Mission Trophies This is where things start to get a bit complicated. For, you simply need to replay the indicated 'mission' while you're working your way through the story again as directed above. For the other two trophies, there are a couple of different ways things can go:. If you did not play the Creature Slaughter Dome, which is located in the Natural Selection Annex area of the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve and was a pre-order bonus on the PS3 version, you can simply head over there and complete one round.
When you turn that mission in, both of the cumulative side mission trophies should pop. If you already played and turned in all rounds of that arena on the PS3, you can try to find a partner who has not completed all side missions and join their game. Play with them until they complete and turn in a side mission, and if you're lucky, your trophies will unlock at that point. If neither of these works for you, you may be out of luck, and your only option will be to replay all side missions while you're going through your story replay. Challenge and Level Trophies This is where the really good news in this guide starts, because these are probably the biggest grinds on your path to platinum, and they're all much easier with a transferred character. Will pop as soon as you complete any level of any non-DLC challenge in the game, and unless you maxed everything out the first time, you will almost certainly do that during normal gameplay. Similarly, all four of the level-related trophies will unlock as soon as you level up once.
Depending on where your transferred character is with its level progress and which playthrough you're using, this could take a while, but it's still something you'll get naturally while playing through the story and DLC again. Location Trophies All five of these trophies will unlock the first time you fast travel to another location with your transferred character. Doesn't get much easier than that, does it? Character-Specific Trophies All four of these trophies should be very easy to earn again, since you already have the four characters you used to earn them in the PS3 version, and each of them will pop the first time you perform the specified action with each character. You read that right - the FIRST time you perform them. That means that even though two of them require racking up 100 kills with a character's skill, you will only have to get one with your transferred character because that character already has over 100 such kills. Miscellaneous Trophies Each of these trophies requires you to perform a specific action, often in a specific place, for them to pop.
The bad news is that you have to redo all of these actions - the good news is that they're all repeatable, meaning that you can load up a save file on your normal playthrough, head to the designated area (when necessary) and follow the instructions in the original trophy guide to easily re-earn all of these trophies. A couple of minor exceptions are noted below:. For, you just need to go back to any of the Circles of Slaughter and replay the final round., and are all dependent on random spawns, so you may not want to waste a ton of time specifically trying to get those until after you've finished everything else. Check out the areas as you pass through them - definitely check Sanctuary every time for Michael Mamaril - but don't spend a bunch of extra time looking for Donkey Mong or a chubby until you have to.
and will both pop automatically the first time you load the game if the character you're loading meets the requirements. This is the one trophy in this pack that must be earned as originally intended - by playing through all of the story missions from beginning to end.
Both of these trophies, thankfully, can be very quickly unlocked by replaying the last round of the Bar Room Brawl in Pyro Pete's Bar. Finishing that round and turning in the associated mission will unlock, and if you're playing with a character that already unlocked in the PS3 version of the game, you only need to pick up one more picture of Moxxi to pop it again. The enemies you defeat in this fight will randomly drop those pictures, so just keep replaying it until you get one. These are the trophies associated with the main story of the Tiny Tina DLC, and as with all of the other story-related trophies, you must replay and turn in all of the missions to to re-earn them.
Although you could technically go back to your original save file and earn these on it by repeating the required actions, the easiest thing to do is simply to make them part of your story playthrough for this DLC. The one possible exception to this rule is. If you are lucky (or smart) enough to not have dumped the Mysterious Amulet during your PS3 playthrough of the game and still have it in your inventory, you can simply equip it at any time. Otherwise, go through the normal steps outlined in the trophy guide to acquire it again when you reach that area of the story.
Borderlands 2 Ps3 Review
This is the one trophy that you're not going to want any part of on your story playthrough. While it's not nearly as bad as the DLC arenas in Borderlands 1, this is still an extremely long fight, and can be extremely frustrating or extremely boring, depending on the level of your character.
The good news is that you don't have to redo the entire thing. Instead, load up a previous save where you've already completed it and just replay the final (Badass) round.
